Want to use the leaf blower?
N. Loop needs blowing, this allows us to get on the dirt sooner as the leaves keep moisture on the trail.
Post here and we can make arrangements for your use of the blower or rakes.

I know Alex wanted to use the leaf blower and get those leaves off the trail. Also, can we get some physical barriers up on the North Loop? I am thinking that it is probably not members who are destroying one of our best trails (or at least I hope not). Barriers would let the public know that the trail is closed.
Here is an idea that Alex and I came up with for trying to fix the ruts while we still can. Take an old bald truck or tractor tire and fill it with fluid. Bolt a metal plate with a hole in it in the center to the existing bolt pattern on the rim, and put a metal pipe through that hole. A couple more pipes and a couple of 90 degree pieces and you've got something that looks similar to a rickshaw that we could pull around the trail to attempt to smush out the terrible ruts. Has anyone else tried something like this? It is the same idea as a sod roller, but it is narrower and cheaper to build. Let me know any thoughts or suggestions so we can bet moving on a solution before the ground dries and we are stuck riding the same lines as the mud riders did.

Thanks to whomever cleared the big downed tree just before the prison hill climb.
